Old Vienna + Heart of the city walk

Highlights of the Tour:

Together we discover narrow lanes, romantic corners and hidden courtyards. Old legends and fairy tales give you an idea of how people lived and how they thought in the past. Enjoy the Greek quarter with its amazing history and experience why baroque architecture always intends to create a stage. Many historical celebrities will pass our way from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Saint Stephens Cathedral is the most important gothic church in the German speaking area. In the middle of our tour we have a 30 minutes break at a traditional Old Vienna Kaffeehaus with a cup of Melange and a piece of apple strudel or Sacher cake. We will walk across the courts of the Imperial Palace, where the Habsburg started and we visit an outstanding treasure of baroque architecture, the State Hall of the National Library, which is said to be the most precious hall in Austria. We will finish at the famous Opera close to the Ringroad. Don´t forget to bring your camera! This tour is ideal for you....

a) after you have done the classical city tour by coach and a visit to Schoenbrunn Palace and / or

b) if you want to "awalk" Vienna which is the only way to have a look behind the stage and rather away from the crowd
