Anton Bruckner Tour

Highlights of the Tour:

• Visit to Anton Bruckner's birth place with a compact museum (Ansfelden near Linz City)
• St. Florian (a remarkable baroque Abbey of the Order of Saint Augustine) which had great influence on Anton Bruckner's musical carreer. A brief tour through the abby, the basilica with access to the crypt with Anton Bruckner's coffin can be arranged.
• Linz City visit to the Jesuit Church (Old Cathedral) where Anton Bruckner has held the position of the cathedral organist for nearly twelve years
• Linz City visit to the "New Cathedral". The mass E-Minor and the motette "Locus iste" were composed on the occasion of the consegration of the cathedral's Votive Chapel in 1869.
