Hello Everyone – I am a Trabant 601 Combi!
"I was made on the 23rd of March 1979 in a factory in Zwickau Eastern Germany. I spent most of my time in a garage in Eastern part of Czech Republic as my previous owners only used me from time to time. That’s why I am well preserved and I look almost like a new one! – I never thought I would become so admired as I started to be once I got my new owner – Martina, who drives me through the centre of Prague! My name is Salvador and I am ready to take you around through any part of Prague you like. I am made of plastic and I am 2–stroke. People used to say that I am plastic and fantastic...but after the Velvet Revolution, they stopped to be interested in me and stopped produciing my brand. Fortunately times have changed and I now have many fans in Trabant clubs all over the world and I am expecting my revival in a new model from the Herpa Company in September 2009!

Price per hour for tour guide
- 1 person: 400 CZK (18 €, 14 £)
- 2 to 3 persons: 600 CZK (26 €, 20 £)
- 4 to 6 persons: 700 CZK (30 €, 24 £)
- 7 to 9 persons: 900 CZK (38 €, 30 £)

- Rates for private tours are set per hour and are dependent on group size, you share the price
