• Day 1 Arrive Nairobi, Kenya
  You are welcomed on arrival and transferred to your city hotel.

  Day 2-3 Samburu/Shaba
  Depart after breakfast on the overland drive past Thika, over the Equator and onto Samburu and Shaba Reserves for two days of wildlife viewing. This arid northern region is home to a diverse wildlife cross section, including the long-necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, the Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe species which are all unique to this region. Accommodations: Sarova Shaba Lodge/Similar

   

  Day 4 Lake Nakuru
  Your drive turns southwest to the edge of the Great Rift Valley, a region formed over 20 million years ago by geological upheaval and now dotted by a series of lakes. Afternoon game viewing in the park – possible sightings include waterbuck, rhino, leopard, buffalo and, of course, thousands of flamingoes which make this lake their home. Accommodations: Sarova Lion Hill Lodge/Similar

   

  Days 5-6 Masai Mara
  Continue your southbound journey onto the plains of the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife sanctuary and highest concentration of wildlife anywhere on the continent. Enjoy two days of game viewing. Accommodations: Sarova Mara Camp/Similar

   

   

  Day 7 Depart Nairobi
  View your last wildlife as you exit the Masai Mara on the drive back to Nairobi. Afternoon spent in shopping and city tour before proceeding to carnivore restaurant or Nyama choma Ranch (famous for game meat) for dinner until your transfer to your departing flight.
